What is The Music Run™
The Music Run is Dubai’s premier 5km fun run with speakers lining the entire ‘Sound Track’ run course, culminating in the world’s best finish line festival.
It’s an energising and fun event that brings young people together, irrespective of gender and race, for a one-of-a-kind safe, clean, alcohol-free, and healthy experience.
Launched in 2014 by Fresh Events Asia, The Music Run’s mission is to inspire people to live the beat and lead more active lifestyles. To date, it has been experienced by over 355,000 runners across 44 events in 14 countries.

Live The Beat is our lifestyle philosophy for active living. It’s about living today better than yesterday; being physically and emotionally charged to work hard to improve your fitness, live healthier, and lead a more active lifestyle.
When is it?
The Music Run Dubai will take place on Saturday, 15 November 2025.
What is the event day schedule?
Further details of all activities will be shared closer to the event, however, key times are as follows:
17:30: Gates Open
18:30: Warm Up
18:50: Start Chute Opens
19:00: 5km Fun Run Starts
20:00: Live The Beat Music Festival
21:30: Event Ends
Where is it?
The Music Run Dubai will take place at the iconic Meydan Racecourse, Dubai.
What race categories are available?
The Music Run is an untimed 5km Fun Run. You can run, jog, walk, or dance your way to the finish line!
Will my run time be recorded?
No, The Music Run is not a competitive race, so individual run times are not recorded. The event is designed to be a fun and immersive experience, where participants can enjoy music and the vibrant atmosphere at their own pace, whether walking, jogging, or running. The focus is on the enjoyment of the event rather than on performance or timing.
Are there any prizes for the 5km race?
There are no winner’s prizes, but as a memento of the event, every participant will receive a finisher’s medal upon crossing the finish line.
Do I need to be a fast runner?
You don’t need to be a fast runner to enjoy The Music Run! Whether you’re aiming to beat your personal best or just out for a leisurely jog, The Music Run is an experience for everyone, with music every step of the way.
How do I register?
When on sale, tickets can be purchased via our registration platform.
Is VAT included in the ticket price? Are there any other fees?
VAT is included in your ticket price. A ticket processing fee will be added to the listed price at checkout.
Your bank may impose a processing fee, and we ask that you verify this directly with them.
Can I register as a group?
Sorry, only individual registrations are accepted.
What is included in the ticket price?
The Music Run ticket includes a 5km Fun Run and entry to the exclusive Finish Line Party. All participants also receive an individual Run Pack, which consists of an Official Event T-Shirt, Drawstring Bag, Finisher Medal, Foam Glow Stick, and Tattoo Sticker.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, children are very welcome; however, the event is an evening / night time event with loud music and may not be appropriate for younger children or babies.
Please note the following:
- Event tickets for Children under the age of 5 (five) years on the day of the event are FREE.
- Children under the age of 5 (five) years on the day of the event will be provided with a bib for identification at Run Pack Collection (RPC). Please bring your child with you to RPC for age verification purposes. The Organiser reserves the right to request proof of age.
- Children under the age of 5 (five) years on the day of the event do not receive a Run Pack.
- All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the Event. Accompanying parents or guardians must have purchased an Event Ticket for themselves.
- Children aged 5 (five) years and over on the day of the event are required to purchase an Event Ticket and will receive a Run Pack.
Can under-18s attend?
Yes! Participants under the age of 18 who wish to join The Music Run must obtain parental or legal guardian consent via the Terms and Conditions waiver that is part of the registration process. We’re committed to making The Music Run a memorable and safe experience for everyone involved.
I did not receive an email response after registering. Why is this?
There are a number of possible reasons this may have occurred:
- Your registration wasn’t successful. Please try again.
- There was a typo in your email address during registration, so the confirmation email wasn’t sent to the correct email address.
- The email was blocked by your email server or has been treated as spam or junk mail. Please adjust your settings.
If the problem still persists, please fill out the Contact Form on our website, and we’ll do our best to assist you.
I am already registered. Can I amend my personal details & t-shirt sizing?
Personal details – including t-shirt sizes – cannot be changed after registration, sorry.
Are ticket refunds available?
Standard entries are non-refundable (please refer to our full Ticket Refund Policy wording here).
However, during registration, you may choose to purchase a Refundable Insurance add-on. This insurance entitles you to a full refund if you meet the refund conditions.
- Full details of the refund terms and conditions can be found here.
- If you purchased the insurance, you can submit a claim directly from your Race Dashboard (accessible via the link in your confirmation email).
- Insurance can only be purchased during the initial registration; it cannot be added to your registration at a later date.
Can I transfer my registration to a friend?
Unfortunately, tickets are not transferable.
What’s included in the Run Pack?
Your Run Pack will include the Official The Music Run Dubai 2025 Event T-Shirt, Drawstring Bag, Finisher Medal, Foam Glow Stick, and Tattoo Sticker.
When and where is Run Pack Collection?
Details for this year’s Run Pack Collection will be announced soon.
What do I need to bring to collect my run pack?
You will need to bring your QR Code and Photo ID to collect your run pack. Your QR code is available within your confirmation email and race dashboard. We recommend taking a screenshot of this so it is ready for when you arrive to collect your run pack.
What happens if I am unable to collect my Run Pack?
A friend or family member is able to collect your Run Pack on your behalf by presenting a copy of your Registration Confirmation and ID details. Physical or digital copies are accepted.
What sizes are available for the event T-shirt?

How will I know what to do on Race Day?
Final Instructions with full details of everything you need to know about Race Day will be available in the Run Guide, which will be emailed to you before the event and accessible on our website.
What if there is bad weather on Race Day?
The Music Run is a rain or shine event, but if extreme weather does occur, the event will be postponed until it is safe to continue. Please follow the instructions provided by the Race Officials.
Is there a finish line festival before and after the run?
An important part of The Music Run is the Finish Line Festival, featuring awesome beats and plenty of music-inspired entertainment. One thing’s for sure, there will be plenty of entertainment during and after the run.
What if I’m injured during the run or otherwise unable to finish?
There are First Aid stations located along the Run Course and in the Music Village, so any injuries will be attended to by the appropriate medical staff. We do not give refunds for non-completion of the run.
Is there a bag deposit at the venue?
Unfortunately, there is no bag deposit at the venue.
Are prayer times observed during the event?
The organisers are mindful of prayer times, and the event format may be adjusted to respect these observances.
How is the music played on the run route?
The ‘SoundTrack’ run course is lined with speakers so you can run to the rhythm of the beat from start to finish. It’s an immersive running experience like no other! The Official Race Day Playlist will be shared on our website and socials after the event.
CAN I DRESS UP AND RUN IN COSTUME?
Absolutely! We totally encourage people to dress up and get into the spirit of The Music Run.
Are spectators allowed?
Your family and friends are very welcome to cheer you on while you are running on the course, but access to the Music Village and Finish Line Festival is reserved for registered participants.
CAN DOGS OR OTHER PETS PARTICIPATE?
Sorry, no dogs or other pets are allowed in the event.

Will there be alcohol on sale at the event?
The Music Run is a completely alcohol-free event, dedicated to promoting a clean and healthy environment for all participants. The focus is on providing an energetic and fun experience through music and fitness, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, can enjoy the event in a safe and positive atmosphere.
Will there be food & beverages on sale at the event?
Yes, there will be a curated F&B experience available at The Music Run’s Food Village.

IS THE MUSIC RUN A CHARITY OR FOR-PROFIT EVENT?
The Music Run is a commercial and for-profit enterprise.
WHAT RACE CATEGORIES ARE AVAILABLE?
The Music Run is a 5km fun run and is for people not wanting an official time. You may choose to walk, jog or run your way to the finish line with varying flag off times accordingly.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Tickets can be purchased via this website from 12pm noon on Wednesday 21 February.
IS GST INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE? ARE THERE ANY OTHER FEES?
GST (9%) is included in your ticket price. A ticket processing fee will be added to the listed price at checkout.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Yes, children are very welcome, however the event is a evening / night time event with loud music and may not be appropriate for smaller children or babies.
Please note the following:
- Event tickets for Children under the age of 5 (five) years on the day of the event are FREE.

CAN PARTICIPANTS CHANGE THEIR FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, AND EMAIL ADDRESS?
No, to maintain registration integrity, these fields cannot be modified.
WHY IS THERE A DEADLINE FOR MODIFYING T-SHIRT SIZE AND PERSONAL DETAILS?
The deadline ensures accurate processing and event arrangements.
WHAT HAPPENS IF PARTICIPANTS MISS THE DEADLINE TO CHANGE THEIR T-SHIRT SIZE OR PERSONAL DETAILS?
Unfortunately, changes cannot be made after the deadline.
CAN I REGISTER AS A GROUP?
Yes, if you have a squad of 10 pax, you will be eligible for our bulk purchase at a discounted rate.
CAN I BUY A BULK AMOUNT OF TICKETS FOR MY COMPANY?
Yes, you can choose to purchase with a group of 10 at a discounted rate. Please reach out to us for more information.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RUN PACK?
Each participant will receive (at the Run Pack Collection):
- Unisex T-shirt
- Drawstring bag
At the finish line, each participant will receive:
- A finisher medal
WHEN CAN I COLLECT MY RUN PACK?
You will be able to pick up your run pack according to the details below*:

WHAT, WHEN, AND WHERE IS RUN PACK COLLECTION?
The Run Pack Collection is where you collect all your race entitlements, including your event T-Shirt, drawstring bag and race bib.
